On 20 November, the City Council of Vitoria-Gasteiz and the Provincial Council of Álava held the X ‘Álava Emprende’ at the Europe Conference Centre.
‘Álava Emprende’ is held annually and seeks to boost the optimism and training necessary for citizens to launch ideas in the present for the construction of the future. This year it aims to call people to action to face the current economic situation as a key opportunity, taking entrepreneurship to be the real way forward and the new green economy as a niche in the market in which to develop and grow.
The closing lecture ‘Innovating in Medicine’, was given by Eduardo Anitua, scientific director at BTI Biotechnology Institute, while the Provincial Councillor of Economic Stimulation and Provincial Administration, José Zurita, closed the conference.
